Laurel Cavalluzzo is the President and founder of Madison Marketing Communications, LLC, a ten-year-old firm that brings communications strategies and integrated marketing solutions to companies. Laurel also focuses on the development, execution, and measurement of social media, and works to strategically integrate this tool with more traditional communication tactics.
Laurel is the former Marketing Director for Speedpass Network, an RFID payment and loyalty device which was a venture of Exxon Mobil Corporation. Here, she successfully led the marketing efforts for the Speedpass brand for five years. In her cross-functional role, she led teams to create the brand and messaging platform for Speedpass, to formulate the comprehensive communication plan with supporting marketing collateral for the initiative, and to develop and launch the initial speedpass.com website. Laurel’s focus also included working with the marketing departments of national brands such as McDonald’s and Walgreens when Speedpass was rolled out to these retailers. Laurel earlier managed an innovative loyalty campaign that Mobil Oil used nationwide across its base of company-owned, dealer, and distributor network of gas stations and convenience stores.
Laurel has an MBA with a dual major in Marketing and Strategic Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an undergraduate business degree from Georgetown University.
